Pride's Obituary

"Abashed the devil stood, and thought how awful goodness is."

- John Milton

Being "smart", "right", "good", and "helpful"... there have been times when I've held great stock in most of these so-called "virtues".

Now I find little else more disgusting, despicable, and degenerate.

Looking back, I've realized several things:

Never was I more ignorant than when I thought myself bright.

Never was I more wrong than when I considered myself right.

Never was I more immoral than when I believed myself good.

And never more discouraging than my unsolicited advice helpful could.

On the contrary:

Proclamations of my assumed Knowledge made me the Fool.

Demonstrations of my righteousness made me the Outcast.

Advocations of my dogmatism made me the Villain.

And acts of unsolicited advice or aid made me the Hypocrite.

Thus, an important lesson I've learned is this:

"Pride in a Virtue makes it more base than its opposing Vice."

Jesus Christ: Martyred Savior of Mankind?

» Friday, December 25th, 2009 at 09:33pm

I want to tell you what Christmas means to me:

The Hope that it is possible to control the Destructive Impulses of our natures, the Faith that it is within our capabilities, and the Charity or True Altruism which is the result, through Cause and Effect.

Is that not the Science back of what the Master came to teach?

Most of us are familiar with the common belief concerning the Master Jesus' birth and life:

We know that the dogmatists claim He was God incarnated into a man for the sole purpose of saving humanity from their sins by being murdered, so that we may escape the misery of Hell after we die and instead gain entry into Heaven.

But, upon the facts of Nature (responsible for all the operation and functions of what we call "reality") is this, and perhaps more importantly, can this be true?

If we investigate it, and in that investigation should we remove the toxic superstitions from this common myth — of which nothing seems to have a greater force in binding the minds of men to the chains of ignorance, that great Antithesis of Knowledge necessary for Happiness — it will be found that we are, in fact, left with the truth; thus, allowing a man to throw off the limitations it creates for himself within his own mind, thereby unfolding new channels of power to him.

However, like a glass of pure water that has even one drop of poison added to it, consequently making the entire glass lethal, so it can be said of but one superstition mixed into any of the Great Truths.

For with the presence of that one superstition, like a single drop of poison added to a glass of water, it alters the "chemistry" and transforms it from a tonic into a toxin.

And a myth in the mind will destroy his "mental" health as surely as a poison in the body will destroy his "physical" health.

Therefore, let us remove the superstitions!

Let us drink pure water, free of toxins!

It is known that three Great Masters made the trip from the Himalayas to be present at Jesus' birth and make their first contact with Him. Through their Knowledge of the operations of Prophecy, they foresaw Him to be born and eventually evolve Himself into a Great Master, with perhaps unmatched faculties of Reason and Intuition, perfectly balanced.

According to the Bible, we see this quite clearly when, as a young boy, He confounded even the most learned scholars of His time.

Then we hear nothing of Him from that time until His return from, assumably, the Himalayas, to begin His Mission and fulfill the Great Commission set for Him by the Wise Men who paid homage at His birth.

It will be found that His commission was, indeed, to "save the world from their sins" — just not in the manner of which the ill-informed have come to believe.

Most of us who have come to the age of mental maturity know that we are all susceptible to the Destructive Impulses, such as Envy, Jealousy, Anger, etc. — which motivate us to trespass against the rights of others.

And we know the axiom of the Master's Message was "The Golden Rule".

But can I or anyone else directly stop you from admitting or expressing any of the Destructive Impulses?

There is no doubt it is possible for someone to coax another into not expressing them, but does anyone else truly have the ability to stop us from reacting destructively from within our own minds, without our cooperative effort?

Upon the facts, it will be found it is impossible. Some form of Personal Initiative and cooperation are necessary.

Did He come to "save us from our sins"?

He had Knowledge, accumulated over thousands of years by the Great Parent School of Knowledge, and backed by over a decade of His own persistent effort and practice in mastering the Destructive Impulses that all us men are ere to, which was exactly what He was Instructed to teach others, when His preparations were complete and the time arrived for His obligatory "Ministry".

If it could be said that giving us a method by which we can master our Destructive Impulses is synonymous with "saving us from our sins", He did come for that purpose.

Did He come to "save us from Hell" that we may "gain entry into Heaven"?

When the Master spoke of Heaven and Hell, He was simply referring to states of mind. With any amount of life experience, where any of the Destructive Emotions have been experienced, I doubt not one of us would vouch that Fear or Jealousy or any of the others are "heavenly" states of mind.

In fact, we know that they create "Hell" in our experience by twisting our stomachs, making us sick, and bringing about anxieties.

Thus, in the sense that He came with the "Good News" or "The Way" to harmonize one's thoughts to coincede with the Constructive Emotions, while eliminating the Destructive Emotions from making a haven for themselves in the mind, and thereby creating the state of mind known as Faith or what He often referred to as "Heaven"...

Yes, He did.

Did he "die for our sins"?

Upon the fact that he was killed because he became a "political" threat — as the Instruction He gave was aimed at freeing the masses' minds from their superstitions and since it will be found that perhaps the only way by which "Leadership by Force" can be so-called successfully accomplished is when those to be led have had their minds doused in superstition.

By teaching the masses how to free their minds, in an indirect sort of manner he did "die for our sins" — or more accurately, since the purpose of His Mission was to teach others to master Sin through the use of Practical Knowledge, as he had already accomplished this feat under the Instruction of those who had gone before, His purpose became an obstacle to those "in power".

Thus, He was murdered for it, through the support of the Envy of the masses, who would rather see a man fail and die than watch Him enjoy what they secretly believed themselves to be missing out on.

It is written:

"Whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life."

Does this mean to "invite Him into our hearts to save our Souls from damnation" — whatever that signifies?

Nay!

It means to believe that what He said, or the Knowledge he was Commissioned to impart, was true to the facts of Nature and that, if applied correctly, would unfold the dormant potentialities of any individual, as it had already done for Him, to the best benefit both here and hereafter.

Thus, upon these grounds:

Be gone you Superstitions!

You seeds of Fear and products of Ignorance!

You servants of Greed and Self-Righteousness!

You bastard childen of Vanity!

Be gone!

The Soundest Structure of Service to Humanity

» Tuesday, December 22nd, 2009 at 03:33am

The Master said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive."

Being that everything the Masters have told us has a scientific basis back of it, that is generally aimed at our own individual best interests (as well as collectively, through Cause and Effect), this has always baffled me.

Perhaps it is for the simple reason that I have not, in my own experience, figured out what the true reason, as it relates to Natural Law, is.

When I defined my Definite Purpose in Life about 7 years ago, there came to me an idea or specific "structure" of Service (which I have not yet had the occasion to successfully put into practice), and perhaps it is not a new idea.

But in light of my recent failures:

To you who think globally and aim high, and to you who have come to know that we are compensated not for what we feel unjustly entitled to in blasphemy against Nature, but rather for the Quality and Quantity of Service we render in the Spirit of True Altruism, I would like to offer that structure to you — perhaps that you may make better use of it than I have had the opportunity to.

The idea is relatively simple:

It is the use of one form of service as a vehicle to support another form service — or the use of the "blessed" public's money (in exchange for service) to provide service to the "less blessed" of the public, without encouraging "something for nothing".

Stated differently, the act of giving to receive (or exchanging) as a way to truly give — without expectation of monetary gain.

The demonstration is this:

FIRST, it involves rendering service in exchange for payment, through the form of a business, where the customers are those blessed with excess income.

This is the First Act of Service.

SECOND, it then involves the greatest use of the excess profits gained from the service rendered to the consumers as a means of providing free service to those in need of it, who do not have or know of the opportunities readily available to others.

This is the Second Act of Service.

Stated even more simply:

The purpose back of giving to the public so that they may give back is to give back more.

I am a Man of Words — and perhaps little more.

But to you Men of Action, bold enough to build a system in order to receive payment for service rendered and humble enough to give back all that is beyond your immediate needs and Ideal Lifestyle, what say you?

The Root of Our Dominant Destructive Impulses

» Friday, December 18th, 2009 at 10:22pm

To anyone who has both a strong understanding of the Duality of the emotions and motives in operation back of and driving Human Nature and also a refined sense of Self-Awareness, it is obvious that we all have specific Destructive Impulses which have come to be dominant in our Moral Characters.

Our Moral Characters can be said to be the sum total of the Impulses, both Constructive and Destructive, we have allowed into our conscious minds, whereby they are passed on and are "filed away" in our subconscious minds, which is the sole determinant of our conduct on the Stage of Life.

Once each of these Impulses have been passed through the conscious mind into the subconscious mind, they are generally no longer under our awareness or control, and influence, to no small degree, the conditions we create in the Great Unfoldment.

Where personal interaction is concerned, this occurs through the Law of Transmission as discussed in Personal Responsibility and Our Destructive Natures.

The science of Morality can be stated quite simply:

The refinement of a man's Moral Character is in direct ratio to the absence of Destructive Impulses he allows into his mind just has the coarsity of a man's Morality is in relation to the Destructive Impulses he allows to enter his "psychical estate".

And since our power to influence the Great Unfoldment along Constructive lines is in direct relation to how well we've succeeded at mastering the Destructive Impulses of our Natures — meaning the effectiveness to which we've used our Will Power to refuse admittance of the Destructive Impulses from either entering the conscious mind or passing from it into the subconscious mind — perhaps it can be helpful to understand how we adopt the Destructive Impulses which have become dominant in our Characters.

For the degree to which a man has mastered the Destructive Impulses of his Nature is the exact ratio to which he frees himself of his Sins — as it will be found that what we often refer to as Sin is, upon the facts, the particular manifestation or physical expression of the Destructive Impulses.

The Impulse must precede the outward expression, just as a seed must be planted before a tree will grow.

Simply put:

It will be discovered that the dominant Destructive Impulses of a man's Character are generally learned through the unconscious repetition of them in relation to the common or prevalent "Instinctive Triggers" present during his formative years.

Or in other words, through the process of receiving specific Destructive Behaviors repeatedly over time, each having a tendency to trigger a corresponding Instinctive Response of which is also repeated consistently over time until it becomes a habit, rooted deeply in the subconscious mind where it tends to go unseen and unnoticed by the individual.

As a simple demonstration:

Suppose a child is scolded and admonished repeatedly for playing and laughing during his formative years.

If he responds in fear each time — as is the Instinctive Response — and after much repetition, he will finally come to unconsciously respond to "play" with fear, which will be taken into adult life, if it is never deliberately mastered.

And it will likely be discovered that, if he does not overcome it, he will find himself adverse to new ideas and experiences, and will develop a rigid Intolerance on subjects which he is unfamiliar with.

It might be worth noting that where Intolerance is found, Self-Righteousness is close behind.

Furthermore, it will be found that it is the Destructive Impulses of our Nature which the Masters have often referred to as "Sin", not just their expression as the "good men of the world" lay claim to, but the very ADMITTANCE of them into the mind.

We see the Great Master reveal this truth quite definitely when he said:

You have heard that it was said, 'Do not commit adultery.' But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

Of course, the "good" men of the world often tend to take this truth not as the Master intended, as a presentation of a simple psychological fact and its relation to its effects upon the Soul, but as a means of controlling women and limiting the "sex exchange", motivated by Jealousy which is, in itself, a Sin against the Soul.

And with any amount of experience directed along accurate lines in observing the effects the Destructive Impulses or Sins have upon the physical body — which is a reflection of the Soul Attitude back of and operating it — it will be clearly noted that specific maladies and diseases surface in relation to ones Sins.

It would seem this is why the Master Jesus said, "The wages of Sin is Death":

The admission of the Destructive Impulses into the conscious mind whereby they are given the opportunity, with no protection left, to bury themselves into the subconscious, and thus interfere with the vital operations of the mentality and physical body, which over time, generates malfunction and disease.

In childhood we are often taught the popular excuse (which some carry over into adulthood) to explain away or justify our refusal to take Personal Responsibility and cooperate with Nature's Constructive Principle:

"The Devil made me do it."

But the truth is not based on this or any other superstition, but science — demonstrated through the psychical Process outlined above.

Therefore, let us lay it down as clearly and definitely as possible here:

  1. An intention — whether under the direction of the Will or in response to a thought or its outward behavior released by another — is mixed with an emotion, which defines the motive back of the intention.
  2. That motive creates an internal response and outward expression through the medium of the physical body, evident through movement and vocal tonality.
  3. That internal response affects our Health, for better or worse, in relation to the nature of the Impulse, and the outward expression of it is also transmitted to everyone within its sensory perception and can be "read", should they have the Knowledge of the Cause and Effect of Morality (or Immorality).

This is how it is possible, without error, to know immediately when someone is being dishonest or lying, despite lack of "solid" evidence.

Truly, we commit Sin not because there is some bogey man taunting us, whispering in our ears.

We commit our Sins because we respond to our intentions by mixing them with any of the Destructive Emotions (we've generally allowed to become habitual, and thus invisible to us) which, when mixed, makes the outward expressions of behavior we call "transgressions", "sins", or "crimes" inevitable, just as the day must follow the night.

Thus, let it be known:

Blessed is the man knows his Sins and takes on the Great Work of identifying and conquering them for he shall "inherit the Kingdom of God". And being that we know "the Kingdom of God is within you", as all the Wise Men have revealed to us, we are left with the state of mind or Consciousness known as Faith, the basis and source of the Master Jesus' miracles.

But cursed is the man who knows his Sins and deliberately welcomes and encourages them for he knowingly trades in the short-term perceived benefit of their expression (as in the most obvious cases of Envy and Revenge), only to tear down the vitality within his own Soul in the long-term, which if redirected would raise him to heights that would baffle his imagination.

And damned is the man who neither knows the dominant Destructive Impulses of his Nature nor desires to but instead ignores and denies their existence, for he will forever work at deceiving himself and compensating for his destructive thoughts and conduct in a vane attempt to convince himself that he is a "good" man, only to bring upon himself the contempt of the World.

How Social Anxiety is Really Learnt and Overcome

» Monday, December 7th, 2009 at 08:01am

Though psychologists, of whom most gain their apparent knowledge by sitting in classrooms reading textbooks often written by others who also sat in classrooms and read textbooks — yet have no actual Knowledge based upon direct, personal experience (as that's where true Knowledge comes from), tend to label Social Anxiety an "illness", like practically every other "mental illness" they can categorize and compartmentalize.

But does this justly serve the purpose back of it... or is it simply a reflection of the rigid, analytical, and calculative mind of the psychologist?

And furthermore, is the psychologist's unconscious intention in so doing a means of satisfying their own Intellectual Vanity (as it will be noted is a common character flaw amongst many professionals or specialists — though the ones who don't have it are always exceptional in their field and have no shortage of business!)?

I think John Lennon had it almost right when he said, "I tell them there's no problems, only solutions."

The problem is the problem, when extended beyond accumulating the necessary facts required for the solution.

The reason is simple:

Focusing purely on the problem leaves no attention left for handling the solution.

And how can a problem be solved if the solution is never even considered or welcomed and brought into the equation?

It will be found that any person with a so-called "mental illness" who has been encouraged to Pity themself for their "affliction" has essentially removed the foundation upon which recovery is founded.

Yet what do "expert" psychologists do?

Though I've never seen one (despite the fact that many of my family members, ignorant to the operations and processes of the human mind or Consciousness, have often thought me crazy over the years) — and maybe I don't know all the facts, but it seems most psychologists, during their "sessions", tend to actually ferment the Pity by "talking about" the problem past the point of the practicalities of identification and awareness necessary to lay the foundation for the solution...

The very thing that undermines "recovery".

Thus, what clients actually learn is that if they talk about their "affliction", someone listens to them and "understands" them. And, since it is an "expert", they come under the unconscious belief — and misconception — that acting out this dynamic is actually helping them improve.

That's what therapy seems to really teach.

And the results?

All one need do is visit a "coping with anxiety" site or forum to see the destructive effects...

I once stopped by one of these forums only to find myself somewhat shocked that the forum leader did not well receive my claim that it is not only a possibility to be completely overcome but a certainty (if effort is directed along the right lines)... and I was actually banned for giving people who took an active interest in what I was saying Hope!

Thus is the danger of focusing on the problem; the solution becomes a threat and is shunned by those who are attached to being "afflicted" and, under the direction of their fear, will furthermore take active effort in making Knowledge unavailable to those who are truly interested in it.

The reason is simple:

The "afflicted" have learned, though perhaps unconsciously, to enjoy the short-term benefit of receiving or administering sympathy — only to damn themselves and generate silent animosity in the listener — therefore, for it to become unacceptable based on others' recognition of its counter-productiveness would remove the opporunities.

It will be found this is generally learned by someone looking at another as a "victim" and "playing therapist":

One individual gets to feel "appreciated" and "smart"; the other gets attention and feels "understood".

Being that I've "suffered" from so-called social anxiety, especially during my early to mid-twenties, I've learned quite a bit about its operation as well as how, I suspect, it is probably always learnt.

The origin is quite easy to determine:

Just look at how the individual's close associates "asked" for their attention and you will discover the exact cause of the habit, which could be said to leave a passive imprint of the active method of how their attention was, more accurately, "demanded" without the choice of consent — just as sand will leave a reverse replica of a stone being dropped on it.

It will be found that the person, during their formative years, was in close association with someone who mixed the "Awareness of Presence" phase and the "Initiation" phase of communication into one singular moment — leaving out the two critical phases inbetween (Recognition and Consent), necessary for seamless Receptivity, wherein "Mental Health" is, upon the facts of Human Consciousness, found.

Or demonstrated more simply and in the most extreme case:

As in to approach someone from behind and say something to them before they've even acknowledged that there is someone in their radius, wanting their attention and participation.

Using myself as an example, this was the cause I discovered was the exact circumstance upon which I learned, through my Instinctive Channel, my anxiety:

My father was the type of guy who "sneaks" up on people from behind and startles them with his abrasive, barking voice before they even know he's there.

Thus, through repeated exposure to this dynamic which eliminates the presence of the two phases inbetween from one's Consciousness, a habit is formed which anticipates the same behvaior from others.

And so in like situations in the future Blanks are unconsciously inserted in a person's Receptivity at these key areas — which translate into physical expressions.

These expressions tend to cause others, through their own Instinctive Channel, to respond to match the anticipated behavior of the outward expression.

The scientific basis of anxiety will be found in these conditions:

The peripheral attention is over-active at the expense of and while the focused attention is under-active.

Which is why it will be observed that the outward expression is that even very small movements perceived by the senses will cause the individual to quickly shift their focus onto it, with little capacity for deliberation.

Thus, recovery is achieved by learning to balance the two attention fields.

In fact, my discoveries that later evolved into the Practical Applications back the Science of Masculine Power where revealed through self-observation of Social Anxiety and, in a way, "reverse-engineered" as will quite clearly be seen inside.

Thus, to you who have dealt with social anxiety or any other so-called "mental illness" and perhaps who have had ignorant, arrogant fools attempt to confirm it in you (for the simple reason that they would feel insecure to see you arise above it, and thus have their pride wounded to be forced to acknowledge that they could have been wrong) remember it is not a permanent "affiliction".

It is only a temporary habit that can be overcome with time and effort in the same way that a rope can be unravelled and snapped in time by putting in the necessary effort.

The secret is this:

Social Anxiety is eliminated to the exact degree to which an individual can reclaim and remain Receptive at the key areas he has habitually learnt, through repetition usually during his formative years, to Blank at.

For when this has been accomplished, the symptoms disappear.

Furthermore, due to the renewed outward expression of Power which replaces them, those who prey on other people's weakness will not only stop their attempts but also reap the humiliation the seed of their ego has so justly brought upon them.

Allies of Mediocrity, Enemies of Progress and Knowledge

» Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009 at 06:46am

Dreamers of today, Leaders of tomorrow:

To you who aim above mediocrity and to you who are possessed by a Vision no other man has eyes to yet see, and who backs that Vision with persistent, continuous action not mere vain words and flowery displays of assumed Knowledge intended to impress, it may well do you much good to consider the following:

Before a Dream can be translated into physical reality, it must be created and fully visualized in the mind, down to great detail.

To you who already know this, you may also know it does not, generally, happen over any short period of time.

The ignorant, who know not these facts nor the science of great achievement, and who, of "little Faith", must see something before they will believe it, will not and, upon their current lack of understanding, cannot see this.

It is upon this fact that they call you men bold enough to dream without limitation arrogant, delusional, and perhaps even insane.

Yet to you of Wisdom, who know that to point out their ignorance directly to them would only be welcomed by insult, and perhaps rightly so, as it tends to violate Man's Greatest Prerogative — to live his own life in his own way so long as it does not trespass on the rights of others — endure!

For has there ever been any Great Benefactor of Humanity who did not endure poverty in realizing his Dream?

Has there been any Great Leader and Liberator of the people who did not endure the criticism of the masses while translating his Dream?

Let the first fool point him out to me!

For if this were not so:

Would we have had an Edison and his lightbulb?

Would we have had a Lincoln and his "free black America"?

Upon this proof:

Life presents us with our Greatest Adversity not to penalize us, as the coward would claim. Nay! Life seems to give us this unmined reservoir with the intent of motivating us to discover and utilize Nature's Laws, that we may make of ourselves better Instruments of Service to Humanity.

And those bold enough to bare the task, are compensated for their effort.

The cleavage between "rich" and "poor", who, through their own individual efforts brought them thus, is not dependent upon money as the mediocre seem inaptly misguided in concluding, but one of Altruism and Service.

For does he who gives but little service, to the least of his abilities, and in a spirit of malcontent truly deserve the same compensation that a man who gives an abundance of service using his own Time, to the very best of his abilities and, upon his own initiative, develops those abilities to enable him to provide better service, and in a spirit of Altruism?

Anyone who has even the slightest sense of Justice knows the answer.

Men are compensated not for their Talent nor Knowledge, as seems to be a myth common amongst the masses; men are compensated for the quality and quantity of service they render toward their fellow men under the spirit of Altruism, often at a great expense to themselves.

If this were not so, would we have had a Jesus who died in the name of Service to Humanity and whose true message still lives on and impacts society 2000 years later, under the direction of those who know its true meaning?

Thus, men of Talent! Men of Knowledge! —

Ask not your compensation for the mere possession of these Gifts. Nay! Demand compensation for how well you use these Gifts and to what extend they are rendered to the true Service and benefit of others!

For the mediocre may be unjust and unfair and feel entitled to more than their just dues, and even trespass against others and against Nature's Laws in order to satisfy their Greed.

The mediocre may demand compensation without effort, and thus intefere with the very individuals that truly allow civilization to thrive, and in so doing, slow progress.

They may attempt to undermine Great Effort through the indirect means of criticism, or they may attempt it through the direct means of financial sabotage.

They may attempt to hinder the seed from growing through the issues of Pity, or, if the seed has matured into a plant, they may attempt to uproot it through Envy acted upon through Anger and its bastard child, Revenge.

Fear not!

No great and honest effort goes uncompensated.

For Nature is a different breed of law enforcer — she pays back an equivalent for all service rendered, despite the successful conquests motivated by the vile impulses of any of us mere mortals.

Therefore, dream! And let no damned fool scorn nor discourage you for doing so!

The Science of How Thought Translates Into Experience

» Tuesday, December 1st, 2009 at 04:20am

There is an ancient saying:

"Fools deride, philosophers investigate."

Perhaps it is upon this observation that the Great Souls of Man's history have been scorned and labeled lunatics until their Faith had grown strong enough, through it's outward physical (and perhaps spiritual) expression, to overcome the weight of the opposition of mass ignorance.

I'm generally a practical man.

Though I certainly am tolerant on spiritual matters and have found myself quite fascinated by what those who have looked into the spiritual realm with their own spiritual sight have shared, I prefer to investigate things that I can quantify and measure the results of based on direct, personal experience and observation.

For it is my conviction that:

A so-called "spiritual" man who does not possess the conscious and deliberate use of his spiritual sense channels can be nothing more than a quack at worst, and an intellectual speculator at best.

Neither of which has any substantial value to those of us who demand the Truth, based upon the Facts of Life.

And since I don't remember the time in which I had my spiritual sense channels open and functioning, assuming it is true that we were all born with them wide open and active, I prefer to direct my efforts and observations of the Facts of Nature upon the physical plane of Life.

The reason is simple:

I only have my physical sense channels consciously available to me; therefore, from what other relatively reliable source (in relation to their accuracy, of course) do I have at my command to draw my conclusions?

For what more can come of a man who attempts to explore the spiritual realms with the use of the faculties of his physical senses than speculation — of which we know leads to superstition and finally fear?

Would that not be like attempting to quantify sound using a scale?

Even an ignorant fool would laugh because he knows better.

Thus, it is through the physical channel in relation to the "psychical" or "psychological" medium of the mind that a science has slowly revealed itself to me, through direct experience, personal observation, along with the previous investigations and findings of others who devised scientific formulas along similar lines.

It is called a science for the simple reason that it is based upon observable and quantifiable facts, and the revelation of certain principles in operation in Nature through the study of the Cause and Effect of those facts.

This science calls for the psychical awareness of thought, the identification of their outward, physical expressions upon the physical body, and the observation of how those expressions cause others, through their instinctive channel, to respond.

Thus, we can follow the progression from a thought-impulse to its physical expression, and then the experiences those expressions, through the Law of Transmission, must create (with a few definite exceptions).

But what is a thought?

I've reached the conclusion that a thought is an intention, which is responded to by an emotion or motive. That mixture of intention and emotion, through the reflex of the body, creates an outward expression of the thought.

Others, through their physical sense channels, as a rule, instinctively respond to that outward expression of the form the thought takes through our bodies.

Perhaps I could speculate that the same effect is occurring upon the spiritual body and the spiritual senses of others as well, and though my intuition tells me so, I do not know, nor claim to know, and therefore I will leave it at that.

This brings us to the demonstration and my personal experience in reaching these conclusions:

There have been many times in my life where I've found myself in situations, wondering just how I came to find myself under the circumstances that made up the event.

I reckoned that there must be specific conditions that I am, though unconsciously and perhaps unintentionally establishing, which are responsible for creating them.

Furthermore, I don't think I'd be too far off the mark to wager that all of us have found ourselves in predicaments, only to question how they came about.

Whether desirable or undesirable, the momentary situations — and the conditions of which are responsible for their creation — which we find ourselves in are a direct result of the outward expressions of the chain of thought-impulses held in the mind at the time.

With understanding of the processes in operation, it will be observed that, in the great majority of cases, the conditions are dependent solely on the presence and identity of the particular thought-impulse present in the conscious mind.

It will be found that when things take an undesirable turn, a Destructive Impulse made its intervention in the conscious mind...

While when things are transpiring in a desirable manner, it will be observed that it is a Constructive Impulse which is present.

And with all science, we can demonstrate it quite clearly and definitely:

For example, I've often found myself walking away from an interaction before it had "officially" come to close.

I would find myself turning my back and leaving, with seemingly little power on my part to decide until that critical moment of decision had already passed me by, when it was too late.

I suspect this had been happening throughout most of my life, but I had not consciously become aware of it until some time had passed in my study of the Alexander Technique.

And when I began considering the root of this problem, it came to my attention that those whom I had associated with during my formative years had the consistent tendency to initiate an interaction with me while I was walking in the opposite direction or out the door rather than letting me first give them my attention by approaching me directly.

The instinctive response was to "throw" my attention behind my head.

It dawned on me that, through repetition of this circumstance as I matured, and in order to be "tactful" or not perceived as "rude" or condemned for "ignoring" them, I came to compensate for their "bad behavior" by forming the habit of thrusting my attention to a location somewhere behind me.

That compensation, an intangible thought-impulse, became an unconscious habit rooted in my subconscious mind, which created the anticipation of like conditions in future situations.

Therefore, as its been my observation that when we expect or anticipate something to occur, our attentions follow the most direct route which will lead us to what we expect, while our bodies, in response, take on a form that unconsciously "signals" to others that "this" expectation is what's going to happen.

In this manner the necessary conditions are established to bring the like situation into physical experience; therefore, there is a definite process through which our thoughts, especially when formed into unconscious habit, have a way of translating themselves into predictable experience.

Following my example:

I've concluded that because I had become so accustomed to interacting with others while my attention was given to them behind me, I unconsciously and in advertently recreated it, even when others weren't triggering the process or playing into it in any way whatsoever.

Now, perhaps you can't identify with the specifics of my example, but I have little doubt that, upon Self-Analysis, you will find that it is the very process set down here, which is responsible for the experiences you create for yourself — despite any illusions or excuses we may have that the situations we find ourselves in are a result of "bad luck" or "good luck".

It should be further noted that, through repetition of "destructive interaction" and thus the formation of destructive unconscious habits which create like situations in the future, back of these habits is a structure, which I've found, if fully understood and the practical application necessary to overcome them is applied, opens the doorway to unseen, dormant potentialities already within the make-up of Man.

I suspect this is the critical problem that must be squarely confronted by those who take upon themselves the arduous task of Self-Mastery, leading to Mastership itself.
